Bonzi does all these like no other buddy or friend can, making it an outstanding buddy. Amongst what it can do includes talking to keep you company, walking, telling you a joke- funny right?, helping you browse, searching for files, send an e-mail, and helping in downloading files. In summary, Bonzi Buddy keeps you informed of late breaking news, organizes the internet the way you want it, makes you smile throughout your day with the little monkey personality, educates people of all ages with its wealth of knowledge and trivia, makes your computer and the internet easier, safer, and definitely more fun, and has the ability to save you money. The software also learns with use, of course and as any misrecognitions are corrected, they are incorporated into your personal profile and are less likely to occur next time the same word is said. Dragon can also search through your documents and emails to spot any specialist terms you regularly use and add them to its vocabulary. You get a very good level of recognition straight out of the box, but with some elementary training, taking around 10 minutes, it improves still further. Both the Home and Premium versions of the software come with cabled, noise-cancelling headsets as standard. You can speak into cabled or Bluetooth microphones, a voice recorder for later transcription (Premium only) or, with the latest version, by using a smartphone as a wireless mic. Dictation is much as you’d expect: you talk, it types. There are two parts to Dragon: dictation and application control. Dragon can be used to control a Windows computer, as well as to record what’s said, so it may mean the difference between being able to work with a PC and not. It’s also ideal, or course, if you have physical difficulties using a keyboard and mouse. With high recognition accuracy, including contextual analysis which can usually differentiate between, for example, to, too and two, what appears on the page usually needs less correction than conventionally typed text. You don’t need to worry about typos, either, as Dragon uses internal vocabulary tables to retrieve correctly spelled words. Most people are able to speak around three times as fast as they can type. Even if you’re a trained touch typist, it’s a lot quicker to dictate than to type. There are several practical advantages to speech recognition. Nuance continues to develop the core PC recognition engine in Dragon Naturally Speaking, which has now evolved into version 12.5 and is available as Home, Premium and Professional (£549) products. Speech recognition is an exciting technology and Dragon is the best-known producer for both consumer and business. Speech recognition continues to grow in popularity through its adoption on smartphones and mobiles, but its traditional home is the PC. (Pocket-lint) - Typing away and mousing about are fine, but there's a more convenient, hands-free way of working with a PC that involves no more than speaking. ![]() Still, it's a nice soundtrack to listen to outside of the anime. Unfortunately, his soundtrack isn't utilized as well as it could have been, and viewers will hear the battle theme "Symphonie" and various arrangements of the iconic "Licht und Schatten" enough to bore them even of these great tracks. The soundtrack may be Tokyo Ghoul :re's saving grace, as Tokyo Ghoul composer Yutaka Yamada returns to give the anime's stale frames a little buoyancy. RELATED: Tokyo Ghoul :re Fans Have a Dark Theory About the Manga's Ending Couple that with some disastrous direction (poor shot composition, scene transition, etc.), and the adaptation fails in almost every regard. Without exaggerating, the anime legitimately resembles a slideshow at points, and even faithfully adapted moments fall short aesthetically. With poor animation, a lack of detail and simplistic character designs, the anime rivals the CG Berserk in terms of offensive visuals. There were some beautiful scenes, well-directed shots and even a few anime-only moments that earn their place in the series. Tokyo Ghoul: Root A may have butchered its source material, but it provided some quality Tokyo Ghoul moments that, when viewed in a vacuum, weren't too bad. ![]() Tokyo Ghoul :re's manga had a rushed conclusion even without the adaptation, so mangling it further was not a popular decision.Īnime is a visual medium, so the way it looks matters. Of course, faithfully covering so many chapters in so little time was an impossible task. Similar to Tokyo Ghoul: Root A, fans were offended that Studio Perriot would treat its source material so poorly. It was so convoluted that manga-reading YouTubers uploaded videos explaining the plot to clueless viewers. Following this problematic beginning, Tokyo Ghoul :re advanced with jarring ommissions, terrible pacing and disappointing anime-only moments. Right off the bat, close to an entire arc was cut as the anime lunged straight into the Third Cochlea Raid and Rushima Landing Operation. With the second season, though, Tokyo Ghoul :re fell apart. The season ended on the Tsukiyama Family Extermination Arc, and while it's all a bit messy, it didn't go off the rails. ![]() Most agree, however, that the anime wasn't anything disastrous (so far). In the first 12 episodes, Tokyo Ghoul :re scrapped some important character moments, made some unexpected changes and moved at a very fast pace. This was especially foreboding, as there would have to be ommissions. Piling on the problems, it looked as though there would only be 24 episodes to adapt 179 chapters of densely plotted material. However, it left a large portion of the fanbase hopelessly confused from the get-go. For Tokyo Ghoul :re, Studio Perriot chose to scrap Root A and return to the manga's plot if nothing ever happened, which wasn't a bad decision. However, anime-only viewers had no idea about the different endings. Manga readers disliked how Root A deviated from the manga, condensing the source material and providing an anime-only ending. The last Tokyo Ghoul adaptation was Tokyo Ghoul Root A, aired in early 2015. From the beginning, Studio Perriot was operating on uneven ground. FUNimation has done a much better job so far from what I've seen, but regardless, watching it in its original Japanese form with subtitles is really the way to go. They cut episodes, changed the dialogue to fit a MUCH younger and apparently far less intelligent audience (almost insultingly so), gave the characters RIDICULOUS voices, and pretty much watered down the entire series. They butchered it, there's really no other way to put it. If you've suffered the misfortune of seeing some of the 4Kids episodes, just erase them from your mind and start fresh. For the love of god, PLEASE do not think it is. But if there's one thing I need to stress before even getting started on this review, it's that the 4Kids dub is NOT One Piece. "I don't like the art style," or "I've seen the dub - NO THANKS." I'm guilty of both of these myself. There are two responses I get, without fail, every time I try to get someone new to watch this show. So those who like their Anime uncut, should highly recommend seeing One Piece uncut by fan subs or Funimation's release on the series. With over 300 episodes, I can tell that One Piece is really big in Japan. I knew they would drop it, because they did a poor job in introducing the series to English speaking countries. The good thing is 4kids no longer owns rights to One Piece. And most of them were too important to take out in the series. Plus a lot of filler and small episodes were removed. ![]() 4Kids spent more time edditting than spending time on the scripts. All the weapons were altered to look harmless. All the violence, blood, alchol, drugs, and nudity were altered and removed. Too many pirate accents and catch-phrases that get old instantly. Such as voices that don't suit the characters' personalities. The reason why it's very underrated was because of 4Kids being the first company to distribute the anime. ![]() One Piece is indeed a great Anime next to Case Closed, Naurto, & other ongoing series. But with an interesting cast of characters, and over a hundred secondary/miscellaneous characters. I don't even consider it a kid's cartoon, when it's more aimed to teenagers. The animation is very well done, it's funny, it's action packed, and it's dramatic sometimes. Only I viewed the episodes that are subtitled, uncut, and uncensored. Wasn't until January 2007, when I finally start to check out the Anime. I read the first volume of the Manga series. After reading on the internet that the dub is heavily edited and nothing like the original. And I never saw the English Dub of the series, as I found it to be an OK series. I wasn't entirely into many anime back then. I first heard of it when it came on the FoxBox back in late 2004.
